IPRO General Counsel/Vice President Tierre Jeanne-Porter, Esq. has been chosen for a “2012 Most Powerful & Influential Woman Award of the Tri-State Area.” Ms. Jeanne-Porter received her award September 28 in Manhattan, at the annual conference of the Tri-State Diversity Council — one of 25 state and regional chapters that participate in the National Diversity Council. Locally, the Tri-State Council champions diversity and inclusion as business imperatives in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.
As IPRO’s General Counsel/Vice President for Administrative Services, Ms. Jeanné-Porter oversees the corporation’s human resources, facilities management and compliance programs. Ms. Jeanné-Porter joined IPRO in 2000 and formerly served as the Vice President for Planning, Quality & Compliance. Under her leadership, IPRO’s Performance Management System was certified to the international ISO 9001:2000 quality standards and received the New York Empire State Advantage Silver Award.

With over 20 years of operations experience in the government and non-profit sectors, Ms. Jeanné-Porter previously served as Vice President for Employee Development and Labor Relations at the Nassau Health Care Corporation and Deputy Regional Administrator for the New York Regional Office of the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Ms. Jeanné-Porter has also held a variety of executive positions at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, including Deputy Director of Enforcement & Compliance Assistance, Chief of the Grants & Contracts Branch, and Assistant Regional Counsel.
Ms. Jeanné-Porter holds a Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University.
