In addition, with many small practices having limited electronic health record technology resources, earning a good score may seem difficult. This event will help small practices understand PI scoring, what is needed to meet the 2019 Objectives and Measures, how to maximize limited resources while improving the care of your patients, and how to earn the best PI score possible. A panel of experts who regularly work with small practices will explain PI objectives and measures, discuss options for submitting your PI data, offer advice on how to align strategies for earning a good score with your efforts to provide better patient care, and explain when reweighting is an option for this performance category.

CMS LAN Webinar: MAXIMIZING YOUR QUALITY SCORE: BEYOND THE BASICS FOR SOLO AND SMALL GROUP PRACTICES
Tuesday, August 20, 2019 | 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM EDT
Thursday, August 22, 2019 | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT
As the Quality Payment Program matures, many solo and small group practices, including specialty practices, are realizing that earning a high quality score is becoming more challenging as some quality measures are becoming topped-out, preventing providers from earning a higher than average score. Each year practices should reassess which quality measures will work best for them and their patients and allow them to achieve the highest possible MIPS score. This upcoming event will focus on techniques and advice for maximizing your quality score, taking into account options that include using claims, EHRs, and registries to submit your quality data. This event will feature a panel of experts that understand how small practices can succeed in MIPS including small practices that include specialists and those with limited resources. The panel will focus on practical advice and tips from the field on achieving high scores in the quality measures category. Please join us to learn from and dialogue with the panelists for this event.
Targeted Review: What to Expect
Wednesday, September 11, 2019 | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EDT
A targeted review is a process where MIPS eligible clinicians or groups can request that CMS review the calculation of their 2018 QPP Performance Year payment adjustment factor and, as applicable, their additional MIPS payment adjustment factor for exceptional performance. This webinar will review what to expect from a targeted review such as how and when to request one, who can request one, the circumstances under which a clinician would request a one, and what is beyond the scope of a targeted review.
