Dr. Matthew Roberts is the Vice President -Chief Technology Officer at IPRO, where he oversees new and emerging technology solutions, product launches, and health informatics.
Previously at IPRO he led the Federal and State Healthcare Assessment Department, providing oversight for healthcare compliance, quality assessment, external review, dispute resolution, audits, inspections, and related policy development. Prior to joining IPRO, he managed the informatics and IT program at the Chicago Department of Public Health. He has also held leadership roles in communicable diseases, long term care, and preparedness and response at the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Dr. Roberts has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University, a master’s of public health from the University of Illinois at Springfield, and a doctorate in public health leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Under the 13th Statement of Work, CMS has awarded IPRO two contracts to serve as the Medicare Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) in both the Northeast (Region 1) and Mid-Atlantic (Region 2).
