July 28, 2025 – Melville resident Allison Xiong, Ph.D., Assistant Vice President, Federal and State Healthcare Assessment at IPRO, has been elected Chair of the Technology/AI/Cybersecurity Committee of the National Association of Independent Review Organizations (NAIRO), an industry trade association dedicated to upholding the integrity of medical peer review and utilization review processes.
In this role, Dr. Xiong will engage in monthly meetings with industry experts in the healthcare and technology sectors to discuss the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies. This committee will provide NAIRO members with a platform for continuous learning, supporting members’ efforts to stay abreast of cutting-edge advancements.
