IPRO Presents Quality Awards to 26 Healthcare Providers

LAKE SUCCESS, NY, JUNE 13, 2024 – IPRO has presented its Quality Awards to 26 healthcare providers who have made significant achievements in improving healthcare quality. Each of the honorees is a participant in either the IPRO Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO), spanning 11 states and Washington, DC, or the IPRO Hospital Quality Improvement Contractor (HQIC), covering 12 states and DC. QIN-QIO and HQIC are federal programs funded by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS).

“Recognizing these providers is an important aspect of the work we do,” said IPRO CEO Ted Will. “It allows us to showcase the meaningful progress that is made through our partnership with provider organizations that implement evidence-based interventions into their processes.”

Honorees were recognized for their measurable quality improvement outcomes in several categories that align with CMS’ focus areas: Care Coordination; Covid-19 and Infection Prevention; Healthcare Disparities; Chronic Disease Management; and Patient Safety.

“We are proud to work with nursing homes, hospitals, and community-based providers on these important quality improvement initiatives,” said Clare Bradley, MD, IPRO’s Sr. VP and Chief Medical Officer. “These honorees exemplify the dedication of healthcare providers across the spectrum who have committed themselves to providing the highest quality of care and have done so despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, staffing shortages, an aging workforce and growing number of patients with complex needs.”
