Based on comments and feed back from the hospital community, we are pleased to announce that IPRO has obtained a new, toll free number that will be used for expedited hospital appeals. This new line routes directly to IPRO’s Expedited Appeals department without using menu options or prompts. As we realize the impact this change may have on the provider community in regard to existing, preprinted notices, IPRO will continue to answer calls received on the original number (800-446-2447) as well as the new number (888-880-9976) until June 30th, 2010. However, as of July 1st, 2010, only the new number (888-880-9976) will be utilized for the receipt of expedited hospital appeals.
